after much deliberation & scientific study i can now confidently confirm that Devil In A Blue Dress is the best movie ever made ...and it aint even close. #facts

Been years, but I remember it being really good. Remember when Lisa Bonet left The Cosby Show to star in AngelHeart?
I still think Faster Pussycat Kill Kill is a contender for top film. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUeX...
i only watched it for the first time a couple years ago and never finished it... not because i didnt like it, i just never returned to it.
ive only watched angel heart once, so many many years ago... and i still feel cringy thinkin about it.
It’s a rough one. Not the kind you want to watch a lot.
that this never became a franchise, like james bond or fast & furious, remains a travesty and a perennial stain on hollywood.
they out herre remaking perry mason and matlock anshit and aint once considered giving Ezekial "Easy" Rawlins his own series?!? DAFUQ!?!? i dont have much time left on this errf... come on, yall.
I agree 100%. Easy & Mouse should've been at least a 3 movie duo
i cant think of a better cast set of characters. who even plays them today? donald glover &&&& ??? i wanna say brian tyree henry but he seems a bit not-small-enough to play mouse. or maybe he could play easy? 🤔
Gambino could pull off easy, but no one can play mouse after Don. I cant imagine any other actor as his character.
see, thats exactly my thought... no one else has the actual grit to play mouse but don. everyone i think of is too "hollywood pretty" to play him correctly. maybe im missing someone.
he definitely gotta have a hood edge but it gotta come off sincere. Don gave the role a naive innocence that's brilliant. when easy talk about mouse having a history of being trigger happy its the perfect setup for a prequel. they should've made: devil >> prequel to devil >> sequel to devil
always outnumbered, always outgunned was okay. it couldve used a bigger production budget, but, overall, i liked it.
never saw that one actually, I'll have to check it out
i just posted the youtube link. it doesnt appear to be with any other streaming service.
And the casting was perfect. Even two or three more films would’ve been amazing. Between this and One False Move, I’m baffled how Carl Franklin ended up mostly working in TV. (No disrespect to his work there.)
3 easy rawlins films wouldve changed the entire american landscape.
Imagine FX putting together a prequel TV series about Mouse’s early days
there was 3 seasons of Hap & Leonard (based on joe lansdale's detective novels) which was "aight", but it featured michael k. williams ...and what show was never made better by his presence?
