Well, as I told a friend who is now an ex-pat in Italy, you can nonpartisan your way right into a dictatorship. Best thing LWV can do is keep their damn mouth shut abut it.

I don't know what their strategy will be. They have written a letter to Newsom opposing it and a press release. Both are pretty strong.

And this is why I do not join, and in at least one case, have left, feminist political groups. When the rubber meets the road, they show their wht feminist hides and confuse equality and equity, because THEY aren't the ones who are going to get the worst of it.

Yes. And they have a hard time admitting they benefited the most from diversity hiring programs.
