People underestimate the impact of right-wing media like Faux News and (at that time) Limbaugh. Yes, there is MSNBC and, for a short time a radio network (was it Liberty?) but they simply don’t draw the same ratings. I can go on about that, but my point is that the Right has more successful media.
Yes. Especially the radio space. Limbaugh's audience dwarfed Fox. Many, many worker bees listen to talk radio as they get in and out of their trucks 5 days a week. Talk radio is almost exclusively conservative.
Add Alex Jones into the mix and it is no wonder they are so screwed up.
Decades of this. People who are adults now have been raised in homes that listened to this crap exclusively. Yikes.
