I'm in 2 minds. One, this is cruel and unusual punishment for asylum seekers who were let in and are now being kicked out. Two, I hold the view that if they didn't like the regime where they were, they were obligated to try and change it. Letting them into this country doesn't help save the world.

Here are two facts, we let them in under both federal and intl law that requires us to do so since the 1950's. They spend more in taxes into federal and state govt (about $60b/yr) which is more than it costs us to take them. Deporting them would literally lower US revenue to spend in a budget.
