No no no!! My VA has little specialty care so sends us to local civilian care that has 3-6 month waits unless you want to drive hours to a major city for every appt a few times a week for us ill vets. It's so bad here, I have to drive 8 hours tonight to another state for a VA operation. Fix the VA!

I use the VA for my healthcare. During a 9 day stay last year they understood my PTSD, as they work with many combat vets, and made adjustments to my care plan. I doubt a public hospital would have a clue about how to adjust my care plan. I am VERY afraid of VA health care being privatized.

You know what's funny about this? I went to UC Health for a procedure that VA didn't do. I received copies of ALL the billings and VA only allows community providers a certain amount of 💰. Out of approx 80k in billing, VA only paid about 1/5 of the total. I wonder if these morons know that?!

Our closest VA hospital is nearly 100 miles away. My husband is enrolled in Community Care which is funded by the VA. He has been getting top flight medical care from vision to his blood cancers caused by Agent Orange. It's not all bad, but this is not acceptable as a means to rot the VA inside out!

My BIL is a VA MD. VA docs, nurses, and staff care so much for our veterans. They could make a lot more money, but choose to help those who served. The cruelty of the GOP is sometimes too much to bear. Pure evil.

You should see how hard it is for us to get travel reimbursement for those appointments. I was denied b/c I didn't submit a letter from the provider that confirmed the appointment was completed. THEY PAY THE DAMN PROVIDERS for that proof, and never said a word about a letter BEFORE the appointment
