They are clinging to 💰, influence, and power- not a fantasy. We're desperately clinging to the fantasy. We hang on to the belief that our gov systems will hold. We foolishly cling to the reps we elected to represent us in the fight for democracy. We should cling to & believe in each other.
Unfortunately it is so-called Democratic leaders that clings to this fantasy and they refuse to get out of the way of far more competent representatives.

No I am not saying that. I blame the media and stupid voters. My point is Dems need to simplify their messaging and be blunt and repetitive at this point to get past the media and get through to the dumb people.
The Democrats are there in the toxic corrupt stew of influence peddling we call Washington D.C. They were supposed to look out for us! Biden got 81 million votes! We outraised the GOP 3-1 in 2024! And what did all that support get us? A devastating defeat. Dem politicians are mostly worthless.
But, do you realize that by blaming the Dems, you are saying that they are responsible for why we descended into authoritarianism, and you are even saying that they are the ones responsible for why the Trump regime is doing all these horrific things?
I was trying to convey only my disappointment in their performance. It seems to me they didn’t unify and fight back cohesively or competently. They had plenty of support and resources and failed miserably. They PROMISE to fight for me in every donation request and then…. do nothing.
They are partially responsible because they’re not doing a damn thing to stop this. They’re not even trying. If they think they have the midterms in the bag, they’ll be in for a tremendously rude awakening.

Ummm because they've done very little about it with the exception of a few. They would rather side with and cooperate with fascists then do something about it and maybe they should cross the isle to the maggat side because they're benefitting the maggats and not their own voters....
This could cause them to only gain about 10 seats in the House in 2026, but that's still enough to flip it. Remember, in 2022, the GOP shocking underperformed expectations, but they still flipped the House regardless.

Senate Democrats who vote / voted for any of trump’s nominees HAVE failed us. All of them need to be primaried. It’s becoming more clear every day that a clean slate is what is needed. We need war time consigliere’s.
Start primarying the GOP too. If they can run fake dems turn that around on them and do the same. And start researching & recruiting decent candidates on the ground... not whoever the parties decide to put in. Gut & replace both parties from the inside.
"Nuanced" decisions don't work when you're dealing with rabid, froth-jowled Nazi MAGA lunatics. Unfortunately, most sitting Democrats lack the fundamental intelligence needed to understand that. They need to be voted out and replaced.
