The Special Session was supposed to be about the floods. Abbott and his Republican conspirators have never cared about the victims. Just another opportunity to keep power. I couldn’t imagine harboring so much hate for the people you are supposed to represent. So little respect.

Before the flood occurred, the special session was about the legal hemp vs. medical pot industry lobby. The normal legislation session drew up laws that made legal hemp illegal and would put 55K Texans out of work. At no time was the session about redrawing voting maps until Trump.
