It's been over 40 years since a Superman film was widely liked by critics and audiences. Considering that, this is a decent result worth celebrating. Yes, prior to Gunn's movie, Superman II was the last consensus Superman movie.

Superman (2025) is at $331 million domestic while BVS adjusted is $443 million. But Superman cost $225 million to produce and BVS's budget adjusted is $436 million, so whatever.
