Aren’t the regions expected to cover military recruitment costs at this point as well? I’m thinking I remember a thread on that in the past couple weeks….

Do they have a lender of last resort in their system? I find it very unlikely that any of the banks would be willing to expose themselves more, unless there is an order to do so from above, together with a bag of money.

Theoretically some of the loans to the big banks from the NWF have been to to allow them to lend money to the regions. The NWF is not exactly overflowing right now, so whether that is feasible going forward can be left as an exercise to the reader.
