I switched my dad's old computer from Windows 10 to #Linux Mint. It's better in almost all ways! His desktop is low on specs and was often running slow. Last week it was unusable! Mostly browses the web and uses MS Office. #LibreOffice found him right at home. And #Firefox replaced Edge 😊💪

Yessir! I was so busy restoring the files/setting up the system that almost forgot to, but thankfully it got done 💪 It is such a life saver. btw when it comes to parents PC with linux, I could always use helpful tips, so feel free to share them anytime 😊
I'll share a tip anyway, I think. I did not want to expose the ssh port, so I installed the RustDesk app which is useful to edit stuff on the system if any problems occur. My parents live like 600 km away and it is a savior imo.
