You probably already have seen that Mamdani's middle name seems to have been after Nkrumah?
Looks terrific

Congrats! That is a nice benchmark after all the hard work.
Congrats!
That looks interesting. I see it's available for pre-order at bookshop.org/p/books/the-... Definitely getting added to my wish list. Very few of us know anything about Nkrumah if we've even heard his name.
Congratulations! Will you be doing a Nairobi reading?
What does one do career-wise in Kenya? I will be there in ~2 months with a vague hope of finding my community
A lot of highly educated Kenyans are looking for jobs. In general I would discourage job seekers from coming here.
Congratulations. 🎉 🙏
On the list!

Bravo. Well done.

#Love: - on the days I'm 1/4 you're 3/4 and sometimes when I need it you're a whopping 6/4, besides I'm stuck between "understanding the theory, but not 'understanding' #chords at some level; music is fundamentally a question of #selflesslove #Monkssnap #Africa on.soundcloud.com/xklPJ1mMY4JS...
I very much look forward to not reading it.
I saw you at P&P last week and only after leaving realized I had a question. Prior to Nkrumah's work to organize the Pan-African conferences, the work had been led by those in the diaspora for whom Pan-Africanism was an idea. When Africans began to be more involved and assumed leadership
The movement transitioned from idea to focused on the very real political geography of the African continent, and the political project of the diaspora became more secondary. With judging between the value of the different perspectives, how do you think that shapes were we are today?
fiction is really popular these days
Compliments
Looking forward to reading this.
Gorgeous! I can't wait to read it. I am teaching "Born in Blackness" in the fall!
Welcome!

Howard I have so much love and respect for your work! Can't wait to read, and congratulations!

Haha only clowns say it was aliens. But I wonder why you show the picture you show while talking about Africa. Not 1 of those things you show is of Africa. If you are going to say Egypt I am sorry my friend. Egypt is not African and has been part of the Mediterranean culture for thousands of years
What continent is Egypt on? What is the ancient name of Egypt? Why am I even replying to this nonsense 😂
furtherafrica.com/2022/05/22/i... Egypt is a transcontinental country. Being in both the African and Asian Plates. Mostly African plate Egypt resides in. But going back in its history it was part of the Mediterranean trade system & had no dealings with actual Africa.
Today Egypt is considered part of the Middle East with its Arab identity
transcontinental you say? who created these borders? these geographical distinctions? The science is there, the original people of Kemet were from Sub-Saharan Africa. The skeleton found in upper Egypt Nazlet Khater from the late Paleolithic Age, 30,000 BCE proof pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10964529/
😂
Also as you can see below, soap was used by some but mostly for laundry and it her things. Soap was really popular for bathing after the 200’s ad. That’s well before the Moors 711ad. Over 500 years before the moors. That’s 2x longer than the USA has been a country, just for context.
Haha ur funny. Europe including all the way to Britain was part of the Roman Empire & even Greece (Southeastern Europe) used soap going back thousands of years. Way b4 the moors were even a thought. Next time do some research b4 blabbing. It’s true some Romans would use olive oil & scrape it off
