I'm not sure he's even a bona fide racist as much as dipping his toe in for own benefit. Good chance his wife knows it's PR & only cares that he becomes Trump's successor someday, even if cozying up to WN's is part of the playbook. I don't think he has any real core beliefs. It's all marketing.
I think way more of these guys are true racists. Vance has just found a home for his racism. And she maybe every bit as racist. Just being a person of color doesn’t automatically mean you aren’t. I mean if he was my husband and said 1/2 that nonsense the kids and I would be gone forever.
I don't think Vance is a true believer, racism is just a tool to keep us all fighting over resources without ever looking UP.
But that is the very definition of racism. Blaming Black and brown folks for our country’s problems so people don’t look at the millionaires and billionaires fleecing them is racism. Whether Vance does it as a true race science jerk or an opportunistic jerk doesn’t make it less racist.
