I think this should be part of the Democratic Party platform. All presidential primary candidates should be asked about it & those running for lower offices should answer yes or no about whether they'd vote for it. It's one issue I think everyone can agree on.
I hate to be cynical, but the DNC is funded by the very people whose profits would be reduced by single-payer or eliminated by MFA, so don't expect the center-right/oligarch-funded DNC to lift a finger. Khanna is running contrary to his party on this, and bless him for it.
I know. In the 2020 primaries, most of the candidates were on board with MFA. Then by some amazing change of fortune we ended up with Biden, the one candidate who was against it. I just want to be rid of these blue dog assholes once & for all.
