I wish someone would do a big expose on all the "wellness trends" that turned out to be bogus. It would be a fun nostalgia thing like "remember when they said shark cartilage would cure cancer?"

Someone usually does at the time, but it’s become harder and harder to find good information with AI generated slop and the changes to Google where it’s stopped prioritising credible sources. The Guardian is an absolute disgrace when it to reporting - the odious daily mail is actually better.

Wellness & supplement money is notorious for sponsoring RW ideologues & their podcasts/Youtube channels. It's what some call the "crunchy to conservative pipeline". Another reason I have so much contempt for this industry.
