Wtf? I know nothing about publishing but this is diabolical. Like how can they get away with not doing their literal jobs.

I think it screws these authors out of suing the publisher if they don't own their works & don't have a copyright with their name on it bc legally, they have no right to it. I could be wrong, I do remember reading something in that thread about missing out on money bc the work wasnt copyrighted tho
