RED VOTERS in KenFucky voted for him. Blue voters didn't. Details matter.

Hi. I live in Newport, KY, in the extreme northern tip of KY. I have never voted for Trump, McConnell, Rand Paul, or Thomas Maddie. My town is part of the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Region. My city was blue in the last election, as were Louisville and Lexington.

I hope we can all agree that the current system of electing presidents in the US is undemocratic at best and fascistic at worst.

Also, I'm distressed about the fact that the bourbon industry is suffering significant losses. My oldest kid is employed in that industry.

This is the point. I live in KY. I have friends and family in KY We all loyally vote blue. We can't help being gerrymandered out of having a vote that means anything. Ppl say, "Those hillbillies get what they deserve," and lump everyone in the state together. Louisville & Lexington are progressive.
