The US Constitution does not allow the President to suspend elections for any reason. That sound bite of Trump word vomiting about that is because Zelenskyy *does* have that ability in Ukraine and is exercising it currently.

Democracy literally has not been destroyed. Is Trump a fascist? Yes! But we still have a democracy. We are literally in the middle of an election cycle.

Trump can *say* whatever he wants, but the states control voting, and none of the liberal states (and some of the conservative states) will not go along with his unconstitutional bullshit. There are so many layers to voting that he just doesn't control.

I hope so too, but the proceedings in Texas (less ballot boxes in selected areas) and the initiative to end mail in ballots doesn't bode well.

Fraudsters always have a whole array of options at their disposal. Presently he is killing the mail in ballots, probably he will also extent control over the counting process. 'counting' I mean.

Only the States have the authority to regulate voting. Trump can't legally do shit re: mail-in ballots.
