And as a nurse this is terrifying. Especially in an ER with the things we see and can be exposed to. Everyone should have the right to get the vaccine. I hate MAGA.

I answered the call for mental health workers for Canada. The restrictions are numerous and unnavigable if you’re over 40. I wish they would have just come out and say that in the advert instead of getting multiple rejections. Hopes dashed.

I understand Canada is very protective of the healthcare system but OMG! I hope it becomes easier. Lots of skilled workers here ready to defect.

From what I’ve read doctors and nurses are getting in easier. Perhaps we haven’t put mental health professionals on the fast track. I’ll start lobbying my provincial government to get on that. We need to provide easy passage for folks to come.

That would be amazing!! I spoke up for years about LPC being considered by Medicare. They only paid LCSWs until last year when they included LPCs. It could take years for this too but I appreciate you!!!

This‼️. I was a volunteer in the ER for many years. We were required to be tested for TB and have current vaccinations. In order to volunteer!! How can they refuse this to the medical staff?? I hope this is litigated in the courts. I. Am. Enraged. For. You!
