Mitochondrial diseases/dysfunction are absolutely a thing, and not super rare (1 in ~4300 adults, see link). HOWEVER, I guarantee whatever RFK jr is talking about re: “mitochondrial challenges” is absolute pseudoscience BS based on some willful misunderstanding of actual science and medicine.
