All of my Dad's family is from just about every major town in Alabama. I really feel for those of you there who didn't vote for this mess. Most of my relatives there are Maga & kind of see me as a black sheep. I'm in Louisiana-not much better.

I'm in the same boat. My side of the family is MAGA so I steer clear of them. Fortunately, my wife's side is blue like me. Circumstances are such that we have to live here, so we just make the best of it. Fortunately, we live in a diverse neighborhood just outside Birmingham (Hoover).

When any of mine visit Louisiana, they get told by other family members ahead of time, to not discuss politics. I have no patience for any of it! I've seen the few relatives there who are blue, really get bullied and harassed for being anti-MAGA.
