I saw Duran Duran before they were really on the radio yet open for Til Tuesday in like 1986. They were announced as "the next Beatles" I was like who r these f-ing joksters where's Aimee Mann? But they were of course great.

All due respect...they were selling out huge stadiums in 1984. I know because I attended Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, at the time the biggest venue. Are you sure you didn't see them earlier?

Oh interesting must be b4? It was when TT was very big so was thinking 86 but I could be wrong. They were the opener in a small city, def not stadium level yet.
