My bet is he doesn’t run. Likely withdraws soon after rank choice tabulations are finished in mid July. He destroys what is left of his family’s legacy by running, my bet is that even he won’t go that far.

Generally, when you concede like that, your next step isn't to run again. Kinda feels like he entertained running because a bunch of wealthy people paid him to. He got his bag, now he's peaceing out

It’s not just his ego, the entire establishment across both parties will help his third party campaign. Dems would much rather have a Republican in office than a progressive.

I don't think Cuomo needs to run again, but Eric Adams is still on the table as a third-party spoiler. You could still easily get a Republican (either Adams or the other guy) out of this election.

Adams is toxic on both sides of the aisle; the Dems because he's too corrupt, the Repubs because he's too black.

I hope you guys are right. I don't know the breakdown of NYC well enough to be confident. Racism is reliable; but a lot of Democrats overlook corruption. And, we're going to spend the next several months hearing Zohran is Hamas.

Our Opposition Leader back in May was forced to concede... and did so fairly graciously, here in Australia. But that was because his party was SO badly hammered that he had no choice. And because he lost his own seat in Parliament!
