Hospital execs are extremely rich though, so why complain?
All education, healthcare, and prisons should be not-for-profit.
And there aren't any nurses left in Palestine. #GenocidalUniparty
profit first necessarily means health second. Or third. Or fourth... unavoidably. YOU will come later on in this 'process'....
## 1-3 were prevalent when I worked as a brand new RN some 50 years ago. Some things never change.
This is so sad. 😞 Thank God for nurses.🙏 I hope enough of them complain to make a difference. I work for a non profit hospital, but I see the nurses working very hard. We need nurses.🫶🏻
60-70% of people want universal healthcare. So do it: Put the market on the SUPPLY side & a single-payer on the DEMAND side. Democrats: Change! Talk about both social AND market principles! You will win big! Any intellectual arguments? Tell 'em to go... look at this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-3C...
That’s why so many of us just give up. Too much bs.
The funniest part is that most hospitals operate as nonprofits.
I think they have forgotten about Luigi... Short memories.
Why is there no union for the Certified Nursing Assistants??!?? Honestly, tho. Our poor elders are getting the shaft bc being a CNA is considered a stepping stone on the way to somewhere else, not a career in itself- hence, the slave wages and lack of healthcare. It’s just wrong.
How nurses vote need to be talked about…if they voted for trump they’re groomed to kiss executive ass
When we have Democrats pull off a Universal Healthcare plan they MUST include a cost of living boost every year for nurses and hospital workers. We can not allow nurses to be treated like Teachers when it passes.
I’m a nurse and my daughter is in college to be a teacher. So you got me crying with this one.
“Treated like teachers” Damn…
I’m sure they’re getting worse….
Nursing staff are being yelled at more and more by families and patients as staffing levels decrease and wait times increase. The job remains the same, but the staffing is 1/2 of what it was. Skilled nursing facilities have an incredible turnover because employee stress levels are intolerable.
Health Care system execs are ok with your family dying from a treatable injury or disease. They were like that before Trump and now after Trump stole the 2024 election, those execs are even better with it. And this is a facility that charges you top dollar to park.
National Nurses United has been taking on corporations and health care. When healthcare became for profit, shit hit the fan, literally.
60-70% of people want universal healthcare. Repost this video that shows how it works, so we're all fighting for the same thing! New Democrats: Video shows how to talk about both social AND market principles. You will win big! Any arguments? This ends the debate: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-3C...
And patient outcome far worse.
For-profit healthcare should be illegal. Dividends and stock appreciation should never appear in the same universe as healthcare.
It’s what both republicans and democrats have bn fighting for decades to kp
Between this and COVID, I am grateful that I missed the minimum 78% halfway through nursing school by a mere 6 points. I was often told that I would be great at it while I was going to school. And I was good when I was an ICU aide but those 6 points saved me from that life. And I am okay with it.
Yes!!!!
