it's not Christian to reject the teachings of Christ
Christian is as Christian does. None of this is particularly unusual within Christianity. As for rejecting the teachings of Christ, Pharisees have never claimed to be Christian or to accept Jesus as anything other than "some guy." Leave them alone.
the Pharisees plotted to punish Jesus for his teachings but ok
Why would they do that? He got most of his teachings directly from them. Seriously, his most popular stuff is from Hillel.
why would they do what they did? It's a fine question, have a look for yourself
Have done, and the gospel writers appear to have never met actual Pharisees.
yes indeed, you must dig through the filter of corrupt men to get to the source
Or just go to actual Pharisees talking about Pharisees instead of relying on Christian myths about Jews.
because Pharisees are not corrupt men, and could be counted on to represent themselves without filter?
Well as a modern Pharisee I think I am no more or less biased about myself than anyone else.
I have no reason to doubt that
And even stuff they'd disagree with, did they plot to kill Sadducees or Essenes? No. Hell, the Talmud is basically a very lengthy account of Pharisees disagreeing vehemently with *each other*.
the Book of Job is also an external conversation.
