Yep. In '16 no social media yet, but I did voice opinions in WaPo. (Bezos owned it but hadn't come out full fascist lean). Can't count the times I was attacked, by Republicans and Democrats both, as someone just being hyperbolic who wouldn't accept that the pendulum was only swinging "conservative."
