Yeah, sounds like BS to me. I mean, things COST more, so people might have spent more to buy less, but that's not a good thing!

Unless it’s people stocking up now before more tariffs hit. I stocked up on coffee, for example,buying a lot more than usual last month because I’m expecting 50 percent tariffs to raise the price soon
