That's a good start from a moderate Republican. Unfortunately, it seems like there are only what, maybe 7 of you left in the entire country???? What I still don't understand is this: what happened to the Republicans to make so many of them go so far to the right that they've fallen off the edge?

For racists in the GOP (there are admittedly quite a few), you may be right. But there was also a segment of working class GOP voters & independents who actually voted for Obama, at least once. Perhaps they expected more than they felt they got. But why they felt Trump would help them is boggling.
