GN would be a terrible presidential candidate for these times, as he carries plenty of water for those that oppose true progressive social & economic policies. As well too eager to throw marginalized Others under the bus when he believes it may suit him. In regards to these necessary actions, 👍

You don’t need someone to represent all democrats. You need someone that will attract votes from the opposite side. Don’t worry about the best possible candidate. Worry about the future of your country.

Meanwhile the world literally burns to the ground while you sit and wait for the perfect leader. At this point, I’m happy that somebody finally stepped up in a way nobody else would in 8 months. Should we wait a year? 2 years?
And, everyone needs to keep in mind there is no perfect person—everyone has at least one attribute someone isn’t going to like. So far I’m paying attention to Newsom as he has the loudest voice right now. There will be more I’m sure!!
