I'm curious to know your argument. Sorry if it came across as bad tempered, it wasn't meant to. I'm new here so perhaps I'm still in a twitter mode. To reiterate I think you're absolutely right about shortening and would like to hear reasoned arguments against further shortening. No attack intended.
