Doctors are heroes. Every damned day.
Doctors are heroes. Every damned day.
Whatever you do don’t tell them that they’ll be treating patients with less mentoring. Our corp pays $$$$ for employee health ins. premium costs- but the physician quality/choice we all get is worse every yr. We want great doctors. We lost four in our best group today. We all loathe the ins cos.
You are one of my favorite Drs, Thank you for your service.
As an RN was never my favorite time of the year.
Very cool! Best to the new Doctors!
Thank goodness for the work these young doctors are doing.
Opportunity and Goodness is a beautiful way to express the hope of the 21st century. Best wishes to those wonderful caring young doctors!
We are so grateful for all of you.
Thank you for mentoring those that will care for us.
For us patients, also means don't schedule anything elective until at least the fall.
Sharing knowledge and wisdom has always been one of the greatest parts of life for me! Jealous!!! Great work, doc!!!
Thank Goodness for the new recruits.
As someone who worked in major medical centers, July was a stressful time. Fresh out of med school and wet behind the ears, relying heavily upon what nurses had to say, I personally mentored many an intern who went on to become great pediatric doctors. It was a truly satisfying part of my job.
My daughter is a third year doing rotations in Maine! #familymedicine
🤍
I just wish we had a functioning government that actually believed in science
a couple of weeks ago I visited the NJ town where my dad did his internal medicine residency as a FMG there's something magical about the openness and earnestness of young people embarking on an adventure they seek but probably don't comprehend (nor should they) it says a lot about them and us
My nephew is one of them!!
The realities are: they are terrified, their patients are terrified if they realize the turnover this time of year, and as a prior RN messaged, the OGs are not thrilled. I say this as an MD who has been on all sides. And these fresh MDs are entering their profession at a terrible time in history.
July is truly a special time for hospitals across the country. It’s always humbling to see new interns begin their journey. It’s also a reminder that every generation brings their own light and hope to the world. Let’s continue to build a world worthy of their service.
