Not sure this also counts county and city, but point taken. I've also wondered how "states hold back the taxes" strategy would work, since, yes, employers, not the state, manage tax payments. Could state pass law that taxes go through a state escrow fund, first? No idea. Just spitballin'!
i don’t know. i sure would like to figure out a way but this is absolutely not my area of expertise 😂 i just know how it’s collected a “soft secession” might figure something out but it would be hotly contested—🍊💩 may hate CA but he desperately wants our money
