This is not normal. We do not have to continue to do this… 😔

Last night my 10yr old niece told me she's been collecting ketchup packets at school for the last two years. She said she always has a few in her backpack and stores the rest in her locker. Her sisters and I laughed. I told her it's a strange item to collect then asked why she does it. She replied,

If it is any consolation, at her age we had yellow and black bomb shelter direction signs all around the school. We practiced drills hiding under our desk in case Russia launched nuclear missles on the U.S. 🤔 The threat of guns is more immediate than a 🚀 but hopefully likewise no emotional scars.
