Any that will join. I am also advocating for a day long strike, which significantly lowers the bar of entry but would be notable as a demonstration.
Employers could also throw their support behind such an action as well. Many businesses can close altogether. International companies can give American workers the day off and encourage employees to use the time to go to a protest or at least just stay home so no one else has to work. (2/2)

We are working on organizing a general strike :) The goal is that everyone will get connected and involved in their regional, state and/or local chapter. As chapters become more robust and built up, they finally have enough people to begin engaging in mutual aid.
Each chapter will connect with mutual aid groups that already exit in their area. Most of these groups know how to operate, but need more hands on deck, which chapter members can provide. Next, each chapter is responsible for raising strike funds.
There will mostly likely be a national fund as well, but we want different funds all over the place for safety and security purposes. However, none of this community building work can happen if chapters don’t get the help they need. I cannot stress enough how much work this takes.
With respect to unions, while we haven’t spoken to EVERY union leader, the ones we have spoken to did not feel it was necessary to do a full on general strike, though maybe minds have changed now. This is why we are focusing on both union and non union people.
For those non union workers, there are less protections, which is why we focus on creating an infrastructure of resources, because non union people don’t pay strike dues, for example.
Our non union employees at the bus yard also tend to be maga, we will not be offering any more benefits that we already do for nonunion workers. They reap benefits of our hard work- and yet talk shit- we are tired

From what I read on ICE's website. They only have 21k employees across this country & 57 other countries. Even with other agencies & local PD assisting. It's still not enough to do these levels of raids nationwide on a daily basis without local civilian assistance.

Precisely. I’m not encouraging people to wear bulletproof vests that actually say an agency name on them or anything (that might be considered impersonating an officer) but they can’t stop us from wearing khaki/jeans, bulky black vests, hats, masks, and stuff on our belts.

Body armor laws are state-specific. In at least a few states you can get extra charges if you commit a crime while wearing body armor. There’s also laws about obtaining it if you have a record but I don’t know a ton of specifics.
