It is the same old excuse. "We do it because you did it first." Sure. Perhaps republicans choose to disregard that, for instance, California has an independent commission to redistrict, and needs voter approval. Texas? Texas locks representatives in the Capitol. Because of Democracy. Or something.

I believe this is no hypocrisy or bad faith... republicans really do not see it. They cannot comprehend it.

You’re deflecting again. I’m not interested in Fox News’s criticism of Newsom’s tweets. That has nothing to do with whether or not Texas is justified in gerrymandering. They are and you have intelligible response as to why they are not. This tedious.
