Nope! 😁 Enter through the flower shop (during normal business hours) to proceed to the Black Heritage Museum of Arlington! I found this out myself a few weeks back when I was trying to ask the flower shop “how to get into the museum?”! I never thought to go through the flower shop!
Thanks, While you're here. When you're on the Board. Can you find out why ACFD needs 1 or 2 fire trucks and sometimes 3 when the ambulance tags along? That tradition was okay, I guess. Back in the 50s & 60s. When gas was basically free. HELLO, HT delivers. Stop wasting money and asking for a raise.
I hear you! The resources being used does seem excessive for routine calls. If elected I will take a vested interest in ensuring the right resources are allocated for routine calls!

They do their daily shopping at HT. They come in fire trucks in case they get a call. I hear them almost daily hit the sirens and leave HT. It's like living over a fire station. Like I said, HT delivers. Same thing happens over at Penrose Giant. I think Giant delivers too?
That is insane and wholly unnecessary. No fire house should be sending the any crew member on grocery trips in the most expensive and largest vehicles they have. I will be investigating and raising this concern. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
Actually, there are lots of very good reasons. For one, in the immortal words of Dr. House, "patients lie". They can never be too sure what they're going to find on a call.
I'm talking about them grocery shopping at Glebe HT, which happens at least once a day, usually twice and sometimes three. Or any other grocery store. Big diesel engines idling and their big trucks in the way. It's also noise and air pollution. And a waste of money. HT DELIVERS!!!
