Can verify. My German Lutheran ancestor who arrived in the port of Philadelphia in the late 1760’s was promptly shipped(with the rest of the German passengers) to the hinterlands of PA to work as agricultural laborers. No overnight rest stop. Philly was for English people only thank you.
