At least refineries they will lack of repair parts and pumping devices may as well an issue. Or e.g. gas liquifying infrastructure takes sometimes years.

The distillation towers are big and complex. Not something you repair in a few days. It takes months. I think that’s why we are seeing renewed attacks on the refineries. They’ve been fixed and are back online. Time to smash them again. Rinse. Repeat.

Lets hope so. Anyway that Russia could sustain this for one year seems unrealistic.

The repair/replacements of the refineries is where sanctions do help. Russians are still getting past sanctions, but I'm sure it's not a fast process of getting the western made parts of the refineries.
