I am not particularly fond of Newsom either. I live in California; he's definitely made some mistakes. BUT, I'll take Newsom over ANY GOP candidate until MAGA is gone. Any Democrat who doesn't take this stance didn't learn their fucking lesson & is actively participating in the fall of America.
I can’t even think of 2028 yet, but this is about where I am. I’d not vote for him nor support him during a primary, but I’ll take literally any Democrat over a continuation of the current regime.

Exactly. We can't allow perfection to be the enemy of progress. Sometimes you have to take several different busses to get to your desired destination. It may not be your preferred method and it may take longer,but your still moving in the right direction towards your goal.

Newsom's highest value TODAY is helping pass CA prop 50 this November. If CA gets more Dem seats, we can regain control of the House, and take send Project 2025 into a shredder. A Dem controlled Congress can muzzle Trump, Vance, Miller and all the maga goons.
