Yea but most military bases aren't that big, most don't actually have brigs anymore. The 2 AF Bases I was stationed at in my 20 years, members convicted in court martial of low level offenses (misdemeanors) were sent to off base county facilities, and I have escorted a felon to Leavenworth.
