"There are people out there that don't feel safe" Yea thats because the media keeps telling them that crime is actually worse than it is. The media never reports any good news. The media is making people feel not safe.

"If it bleeds, it leads" The first time I heard that phrase, I had just started my 35 year career in TV news. Now, 4 decades later it's no longer a newsroom joke, it's policy.
