The administration has already said they stopped drugs coming through the border, why do we need a war now?

It's not about drugs. If it was, there would be policies to discourage the alienation and poverty that causes people to become drug users. It's not a supply problem; it's a demand problem. But gov'ts of the wealthy won't deal with social problems that turn people to drugs.
