I'm going to go out on a limb and say none of the numbers ever counted any undocumented person. Employers are required to complete paperwork during the onboarding process. Thats why most undocumented people work day labor jobs in agriculture & construction.

Green card holders and people with work visas aren’t citizens but are authorized to work in the US.

That is the difference between documented and undocumented. The documented can legally get jobs that are reported on jobs reports, the undocumented can't.

I’m aware of the difference between documented and undocumented. She said all jobs went to *citizens*, not to *documented people*. Again, plenty of non-citizens can legally work in this country and have gotten jobs this year.

but the only official jobs that are counted are those that go to documented residence and are reported in official government statistics.

I understand that (although some undocumented people do work “official” jobs using someone else’s social security number). You’re completely missing the point. Have a nice night.
