Nah, I'm trans myself (Gender Fluid umbrella), and would more focus on interesting character ideas. Like, Draco in general is nasty because of their father. Would be interesting to explore it as due to self hatred embedded by their father, and once they know they are valid and their dad is wrong 1/2

The misunderstanding is totally fair - We all get used as the punchline a *lot* to the point of not even thinking about it, even Weird Al has some older songs where these days I go, "Urf dude...", & he's one of the chillest peeps out there. Better to call it out & be wrong because 99% of the time...
(Really want a redo of Albequerque due to this. Love the song but the "Hermaphrodite" part... At least he does apologize for it and explains that at the time, he understood it as a medical term, which fair, it was. Not his fault assholes turn medical terms into slurs >.>)
