That's why the GOP and other conservative activists have repeatedly tried to unseat Newsom through recall efforts, with the most notable attempt failing in a special election held in 2021... Newsom scares them to death. California scares them to death because we are proof that diversity works!
I’m not a fan of Newsom but he’s the ONLY one right now really making an effort to at least take on Trump in some way. JB Pritzker is someone I am getting interested in though. My Gov Kathy Hochul is so busy with the Mayor Adams scandals she isn’t paying any attention to what’s going on.
