Geopolitics and diplomacy are complicated, I guess. Dems were trying to restrain Netanyahu without fully cutting off an important ally that was attacked. Trump literally promised Death To Gaza. Some choices are pretty simple. Staying home and helping elect Trump was childish, stupid and disastrous.

I didn't realize he would have to go to war with Israel to stop himself from having the US protect Israel in the UN, or to stop himself from going around Congress to send them weapons.

I didn't stay home. And again, my vote went to Kamala because of where I live. You got my support regardless. Run a hollow campaign while directly supporting genocide and this is what happens. She lost general Democrat support.
I don't see how either the voters' choice not to vote for her or her choice to ignore the voters (not to mention American law) can be justified. Wasn't worth it. Wish she'd won.
