Kennedy is a conspiratorial nutcase whose own family warned he was unfit to serve. Trump likes him because he appeals to the QAnon crowd and the others who think that all the "elites" are controlling them minus the real elite that is in charge--the corporate profiteers who see Trump as their guy.
