My solution is Zohran Mamdani policies across America. Policies that maximize the wellbeing of the majority of citizens. Newsom will be just as bad as Trump - sell the country to big tech.
Fair enough. Zohran is a good guy, but at this moment is quite powerless in front of the Trump Juggernaut. Newsom has the reach to really challenge the monstrosity. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Dreams are great. Reality is different
I do believe progressive policies will make a more effective way to vote Trump out than whatever Newsom can do. Look at Bernie in 2016. He had all the then-MAGA supporters on his side. Bernie showed it is possible. The problem was the DNC - twice.
Im all for progressive policies. Zohran and Sanders are fantastic. His fight the oligarchy speeches rock. But I'm not wanting to pick a champion. Anyone who wants to take the fight to Trump and his bootlicking supporters is supported by me.

It is not a matter of being a quitter. Even Bernie and AOC are a huge letdown in stepping up against the genocide Israel is committing. However, they have shown that grassroots movements are a powerful thing and can lead to significant victories. Newsom is part of the establishment and he serves it.
The first part is bullshit, but yes Newsom is a POS. Bernie & AOC rally people back to the Democratic Party, if they were interested in actual change they would start a new party like Zarah Sultana & Jeremy Corbyn in the UK.

I have hope that with a progressive grassroots movement, the Electoral College can be dismantled. But we need action at the moment, and in my view, the perfect action is to show the DNC that we want more politicians like Zohran. Vote the established Dems out.
