I don't delete my messages unless I've drastically miswritten something. Check for yourself.
Same applies to any repost/quote/like that is later removed. So if none exist anymore, the next time the cleanup runs you'll drop off the list.
So I was put on because of bad programming? Why have the list at all if it's so unreliable?
The programming is fine, but the list isn't instantly updated because the API doesn't provide a lightweight way to do that. So that procedure runs less often.
