I'm a back in the day kinda person, and having faith or being spiritual has nothing to do with any organized religion. If your church is based on helping the poor, homeless, and disenfranchised people, that's what it should be about. Many former churchgoers are done and made different choices.
Actually that religion does help the poor, they feed the homeless, have a place so they can sleep and provide assistance and food pantry for the poor, I go to church every 3 years, when I was employed I gave donations that went to helping the poor. I still donate to the cause and many other places.
I would be f*cked if I had to worry about donations that I give.
