Friends of mine, a right wing Jewish couple with strong ties to Israel, keep telling me that the “famine is a hoax created by the UN, Al Jazeera, and the EU, to hurt Netanyahu”. I had to quietly leave a get together the other night because they wouldn’t tolerate anyone disagreeing with them.
